  • International Congress: THE THIRD AGE, FOOD AND QUALITY OF LIFE (Barcelona, 1-2 December 2005)

In this Congress, organised by the Scientific Park of the UB and ODELA (Observatory of Food) - UB, the Triptolemos Foundation collaborated organising the final round table on the theme: A prospective vision of food in the third age with the participation of:

  • ACADEMIC SESSION in MADRID (4/Oct/2005) and BARCELONA (17/Oct/2005)

For the  25th Anniversary of the World Food Day, the Centenary of Nestlé España and the 150th Anniversary of the Higher School of Agronomic Engineers in Madrid (UPM), under the slogan:

  • SPANISH NANOTECHNOLOGY THINK TANK SNT3 (Barcelona, 20-21 June 2005)

This second meeting was organised by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), the Scientific Park of the UB and the Madrid Scientific Park. Triptolemos Foundation was asked to organise, for the first time in Spain, a working session about the possible future role of nanotechnologies in the agro-food sector.

  • I FOOD SECURITY WEEK 2005 (Barcelona, 18-24 February de 2005)

Together with the CeRTA (Reference Centre for Food Technology of the Generalitat of Catalonia) and BTA (International Food Technology fair) the Foundation organised this week in various venues (Fira of Barcelona, Institut d´Estudis Catalans, Nestlé España) as a symbol and an approach to the diversity of institutions that play a role in food security. The subjects dealt with were related specifically indicating the participants involved in the Foundation:
