Nutrition, central topic of the third chapter of the Animated Science series

The UB Divulga has just released the third chapter of the “Animated Science” animation, a project whose objective is to create a library of audiovisual resources of a scientific nature, organized in self-closing chapters, which explain, in a visual and entertaining way, Scientific concepts for children.
The new chapter, titled Nutrition, is about eating and the importance of following a balanced diet. The chapter, produced during 2016, declared International Year of Legumes, ends with a review of the main phases of cultivation of this food.

The work has counted on the scientific advice of Claudi Mans, professor emeritus of Chemical Engineering of the UB, who has validated the whole process to ensure the correct transformation of the treated content in visual language.
